Chinooks in Schwabisch Hall! (say that 3 times fast)
Greetings pilots! Thursdays flight will have us transporting fireworks, corn on the cob, hotdogs and hamburgers to the bicentennial celebration at Dolan Barracks in 1976 Schwabisch Hall Germany. I was living here at the age of 9 while my father was stationed here as a CH47 pilot and instructor, and the bicentennial 4th of July celebration is still one of my fondest memories.
For this flight we will be in rotorcraft! Any rotorcraft that can maintain 150 knots is acceptable, and this includes the Rotodyne off of Storm's onedrive. (there may be other suitable free wirlybirds there as well) I will be flying a CH47 Chinook.
The three legs of this flight are relatively short to allow longer breaks at each stop, I know how welcome a short break can be while concentrating on flying these copters.
The flightplan for Thursdays flight is as follows:
LKKV Karlovy Vary Czech Republic Departure
EDQD Bayreuth Germany
EDDN Nuremberg Germany
EDTY Dolan Barracks, Schwabisch Hall
