We are on our way "up north" in our Gooney Birds, sort of weaving back and forth up the west coast of the USA. I don't know exactly where we are going, but we are having fun doing it. This week we will depart from Moffett AFD, and take a quick hop over to Oakland International which was a major airfield used by the C-47 during WW II. Then will will go the to Charles M. Schultz at Santa Rosa, and finally land at Redding Mun.
We will be using either the default DC-3 or the Manfred Jahn C-47 that you can download from Storm's Vintage Hangar.
Flight Plan:
Normally we fly the flight plan using VOR and/or NDB radio navigation aids. But if you still need to use the GPS, a PLN File is available .
