Hi guys! Looks like its time for another "Special Assignment" in those majestic Herky-birds!
I received the following orders to participate an a secret "clean up" operation:
Attention all pilots! The following is highly classified information:
Last night at approximately 2200 hrs, an "unwilling resident" of BASE ZERO who calls himself "Jebidiah Kermin", attempted to escape the facility.
"Jebidiah" made his escape in a highly experimental craft and headed up the west coast of Michigan. He made it as far as Ludington Michigan (home to a pilot known as LAZERBOLT) when the craft experienced a catastrophic failure and began breaking up.
Large chunks of the craft were lost in Ludington and Traverse City, before the craft finally came to a stop by slamming into the Mackinac Bridge.
All available pilots are to land at the three debris sites and bring the experimental wreckage back to BASE ZERO.
Our flight plan for Thursday night is as follows:
KSAW - Marquette Departure
KMCD - Mackinac Island
KTVC - Traverse City
KLDM - Ludington (my home town)
KUFO - Base ZERO
As always with these "Around the World" flights the preferred aircraft is the Fantastic C130 Hercules, but feel free to use any aircraft that can maintain 280 KIAS at 8,000- 10,000 ft. All I ask is that you are familiar with your craft and its systems, and that the group sticks together.
